- park Mont-Royal
- I recommend you very much to visit an observation place in Mont-Royal park , from which you can see all downtown of Montreal. It is better to go there on evening. Over there you can find a lodge, usually it is open until very late time, so do not be lazy, go inside, it is very beautiful up there. Full walk will take from you around 1 -1.5 hours. The park has a lot of parking lots, approximately 6 dollars per 2 hours. It is better to enter the park from Cote-Des-Neiges street (not too far from Oratorio).
On winter time the snow on a lake is cleaned and there are a changing room & rental office, so you can do a skating (free of charge).
|
- Botanical gardens
- It is big-big park , where you can enjoy just with a walk. You can visit a tropical hothouse over there and look how grow up bananas, pineapples, watch exotic birds. Very well organized a Japanese corner with traditional millponds, dragons, windmills. There is a place with usual agricultural plants in it, it will be interest for children to see how grow up the potato or carrot. It is allowed to pick up apples and berries from trees over there.
|
- Underground city
- It is a net of underground passages, which joins subway stations, business and shopping centers. On my sight underground city is a huge shopping center itself, because along all passages you see small stores and cafeterias and in many places you can get in big ground centers.

- park Jean Drapeau
- Park Jean Drapeau and park La Ronde are located few south-east of Montreal island.
On summer Jean Drapeau is a usual park located on small island some south-west of Montreal. but on winter time it became a kingdom of the snow. A city form the ice is built with ice hotel where you can sleep a night, ice restaurant, ice slides. It is very fun over there for people who does not afraid a cold.
La Ronde - is big amusement park. The best description for that: big crowd and long lines to amusements.
From the same island you can get a good view of Montreal's downtown, Here is a famous Montreal casino on the island and the same time a race track for formula-1 is located over here and it is the very good place for roll skating (free of charge).

- Oratorio St-Joseph
- It is big temple located on a hill, close to intersection of Queen Mary and Cote-des-Neige. You can see it's cupola almost from all points of the city. There is a big parking. A couple times per day there are mass accompanied by organ. Pay attention there a two big halls. Second one which is on a second floor is much more impressive. If you go completely across of the lower hall you will get in a long candle gallery with iconostasis. Just go there it is impressive either..
|
- Biodome
- Biodome located close to Olympic stadium. Inside you will find some different climatic zones: tropical, middle region, north with its inhabitant's accordingly. Museum itself is very small, 1 hour will be enough to walk it all over, but it is very rich and will be interest for children and adults.

- Ottawa
- Capital of Canada. Only 2 hours from Canada. Up-front of Parliament you will find the sculpture of one young men,
close to him is a tourists information center. Probably you want to visit it first. Personally, I would recommend you to
visit Parliament, museum of Civilization and aviation museum. On winter time in a park across the Parliament is raised an
ice sculpture exhibition - exciting performance. Close to it on a river every winter an ice is cleaned and many people do a
skating. This trail takes approximately 2 kilometers. There are changing rooms installed right on the river and some
cafeteria on your way. It is better to bring your own backpack and carry the shoes with you.

- Quebec
- Quebec is a capital of Quebec province. Approximately 3-4 hours of driving from Montreal. Probably I'm wrong ,
but only place it worth to see in Quebec city is a castle of Frontenac and it's surrounding, but it is really worth of it.
It is full of tourists stores and restaurants.
|
- Buddhist's monastery
- In about 1-1,5 hours of driving from Montreal built small Buddhist
monastery. A couple buildings in traditional Chinese style, a lot of statues accurate mowned fields and avenues, a lot
of walk paths and small recesses in a forest. Hopefully you will be able to see even a monk.
To walk all around you will need 1-1,5 hours. You can spend some time on a bench in a shadow of trees with a snack which you should bring with you.
Very nice place. It is free of charge.
|
- Safari park
- Located around 60km south of Montreal. This is amusement for whole
day: watch a wild animals in usual environment, feed a deers from the hands, enjoy with a carousels and swim pools.
|
- Flight over Montreal
- Some small aerodromes around Montreal offer air excursion - flight over the downtown of Montreal.
One hour of flight costs around 270 dollars, which can be divided for three passengers. Take off, one circle around Montreal and the way back take 1 hour, every additional circle over Montreal adds 20 minutes.
But I would say most interest in it the flight on small plane itself. On a summer in period of fireworks it is possible to make a night flight and watch fireworks from the sky.
It is better to reserve the flight some days before.
